Your expertise will help transform lives through better rest and overall well-being.RPSGT Polysomnographic Technologist Job ResponsibilitiesPerform Sleep Studies: Conduct overnight, daytime, and home-based sleep studies in compliance with established protocols. Monitor and record sleep patterns, oxygen levels, and other physiological data using advanced diagnostic equipment.Administer Therapeutic Interventions: Initiate and manage CPAP, BiPAP, or other therapeutic modalities during studies. Adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.Evaluate and Analyze Data: Score and interpret sleep study data according to AASM standards. Prepare detailed reports for physicians and healthcare providers.Educate and Support Patients: Provide pre- and post-procedure education to patients and families regarding sleep studies and treatments. Address patient concerns and ensure a comfortable testing environment.RequirementsEducation, Licensure & Certifications: Current RPSGT certification required.Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a sleep lab or similar setting is preferred.
