Your Role in the Team

  • Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess the unique needs of your patients and devise individualized therapy strategies to support their goals.

  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on effective therapeutic techniques to encourage progress at home.
  • Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor patient development and make necessary adjustments to ensure they remain on track.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
