$5,000 Sign on Bonus for External Candidates Optum NY is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Mount Kisco, NY. Overview As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you’ll provide clinical resources, data, and support to help patients live healthier lives. Your role supports the vision of making healthcare better for everyone. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practices. Coordinate with care team members to ensure seamless care delivery, active patient participation, and comprehensive care planning. Assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures. Perform telephone triage, assess priorities, and make decisions as needed. Provide patient teaching and self‑management support using evidence‑based approaches. Administer medications correctly, including proper dosage, route, site, and monitoring for side effects. Perform authorized technical procedures such as EKG, phlebotomy, and IV management. Maintain up‑to‑date clinical information consistent with nursing scope and accepted standards. Seek guidance from physicians, nurse colleagues, or the care team when necessary. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Registered Nurse licensed to practice in New York State (NYS) in good standing. At least 1 year of clinical RN experience in hospital or ambulatory care. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.). Current BLS certification. At least 2 years of recent pertinent professional nursing experience in a clinical setting. At least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in a pertinent practice area or 2+ years as a licensed practical nurse. Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay ranges from $28.94 to $51.63 per hour, based on labor market, education, work experience, and certifications.
