Days (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM), every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required.

Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency setting. This role involves assessing patients, administering medications, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required.
• Active New Jersey RN License must be in hand at the time of application.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required.
• Flu Immunization: Mandatory unless a valid medical exemption is provided.
• Scrub Policy: Any color scrubs are acceptable as long as they are clean and professional.
