Career Opportunity The Department of Neurology of Northwell Health is seeking BC/BE full‑time Movement Disorders Physicians to provide superb clinical care, participate in innovative care models, engage in collaborative research, lead progressive community programs, and contribute to the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Locations Long Island: Glen Cove Hospital (Glen Cove, NY) Suffolk County: South Shore University Hospital (Bayshore, NY) Manhattan: Lenox Hill Hospital (Manhattan, NY) Westchester: Phelps Hospital (Sleepy Hollow, NY) Program Overview Northwell's Parkinson's and Movement Disorders program is among the largest in the Northeast, providing comprehensive medical, rehabilitative, and surgical care in its primary academic locations and care centers. The surgical program includes an active deep brain stimulation (DBS) program and high‑intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). The multidisciplinary team includes board‑certified neurologists, neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners, nurses, neuropsychologists, and social workers. The program also offers a dedicated 12‑bed Parkinson's and movement disorders inpatient unit at Glen Cove Hospital, integrated with the DBS program and advanced rehabilitation services. Candidate Qualifications Doctoral degree from an accredited institution. Completion of neurologic residency and movement disorders fellowship. Board certified or board eligible. Licensed or eligible for license in the State of New York. Benefits and Incentives Competitive salaries with annual incentive compensation bonus. Paid medical malpractice insurance. Full‑time clinical base compensation ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, adjusted for specialty, experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.
