Job Title: General Production Worker

Shift: (1st) 7 am - 3:30 pm

Pay: $16 an hour to start (paid weekly)

Job Description

Support the assembly and manufacturing of custom cable and wire harness products. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to specifications.
• Perform crimping and soldering of electrical connectors using hand tools and soldering irons.
• Read and follow wire harness assembly instructions and cable drawings.
• Gather materials and tools needed for each job in an organized and efficient manner.
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following 5S principles.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Support inventory and packaging tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience in production, general labor, and assembly
• Ability to perform inspections and ensure quality
• Knowledge of crimping and soldering techniques
• Capability to read and interpret cable drawings and assembly instructions

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in packaging
• Familiarity with maintaining 5S workplace organization

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, MD.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
