GPS, lasers, optics, management technologies, wireless communication, and application specific software link the design, positioning, and construction processes like never before.We are looking for a high energy, ambitious Outside Consultative Sales Representative to aggressively pursue technology solutions provided by SITECH Louisiana's team of experts. This territory will cover the Baton Rouge Metro Louisiana territory.Requirements:4-year degree from an accredited college or university requiredMinimum of 2 years of outside sales consultative sales experience or equivalentMust be disciplined and focused to effectively cover and grow territoryMust be sales-driven and experienced with consultative selling techniquesProven success building territoryMust be willing and able to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory during the workday; overnight travel is not required.Preference given to applicants with any or all of the following: Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer challenges, troubleshoot operational needs, and recommend solutions that deliver measurable value and ROI through increased productivity, reduced costs, improved efficiency, and time savings on projects.Ability to effectively communicate solutions and business value to business owners, executives, managers, superintendents, operators, and field personnel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently present and demonstrate products and solutions to customers.Ability to learn and effectively communicate the features, benefits, and ROI of construction technology and positioning solutions.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including the ability to create and deliver professional presentations.Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an outside sales, territory-based environment.Willingness to spend significant time in the field visiting customers, prospecting for new business, identifying opportunities, and developing the Baton Rouge territory.Previous experience in the construction, heavy equipment, surveying, or related industry, OR a minimum of 2 years of successful outside sales experience is preferred.Previous experience with a heavy equipment manufacturer, equipment dealership, or national equipment rental company is preferred.General knowledge of heavy equipment, construction technology, and basic mechanical concepts is preferred.Benefits:We are proud to offer our full-time employees a benefits package that speaks for itself and sets us apart from our competition.
