Job Description :

We Are Seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data integration and ETL solutions that support critical business operations and data modernization initiatives. This role is responsible for building scalable, high-performance data pipelines using IBM DataStage, supporting both on-premises and cloud environments, and contributing to enterprise migration efforts to IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL development, data architecture, Master Data Management (MDM), SQL, and Linux administration while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient data solutions.

Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise ETL processes using IBM DataStage, including parallel jobs, server jobs, job sequencing, and performance optimization.

·         Support the migration of on-premises DataStage workloads to IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D), including code refactoring, testing, validation, and workflow modernization.

·         Develop and maintain automated data integration processes using Python, XML, and scripting technologies.

·         Work within Linux/Unix environments to develop shell scripts, manage file systems, monitor processes, and troubleshoot runtime issues.

·         Design and implement data integration solutions that support enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives and data governance standards.

·         Develop complex SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, validation, reporting, and performance optimization across relational databases.

·         Collaborate with data architects, database administrators, business analysts, and technical teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions.

·         Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, deployments, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·         Troubleshoot ETL processes, identify root causes of data issues, and implement corrective actions to improve performance and reliability.

·         Ensure data integration solutions comply with organizational security, governance, and quality standards.

·         Create and maintain technical documentation, ETL workflows, and implementation procedures.

·         Support production deployments, ongoing maintenance, and performance tuning of enterprise data integration environments.

Required Skills:

·         5+ years of experience developing ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.

·          Experience supporting or migrating workloads to IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).

·         5+ years of experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

·         3+ years of experience implementing or supporting Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.

·          Strong SQL development skills for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance optimization.

·          Experience with Python, XML, and shell scripting for automation and data integration.

·          Knowledge of ETL architecture, data warehousing concepts, and enterprise data integration best practices.

·          Experience troubleshooting ETL processes and optimizing performance.

·          Experience working within Agile software development environments.

·          Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

·          Previous experience supporting government or large enterprise environments.

·          Experience participating in enterprise cloud modernization initiatives.

·          Familiarity with enterprise data governance and data quality frameworks.
