Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• CRT or RRT certification
• Experience with vent management, CPAP, BiPap, Nebs, A-line placement, Intubation, Vent weaning, extubation, and ABGs
• Experience with AVEA vents, Servo U Vents, LPU 1200 vents, parapack vents for MRI, and Hamilton vents for transport
• COVID vaccine required

Assignment Details

• 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation every other weekend
• Floating required within the hospital to all units
• Charting system: EPIC
• Equipment includes Pyxis
• Block scheduling will not be accommodated
• Staff cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12 hour shifts
• Scrub color: Any, no camo/denim
