As a Registered Nurse specializing in psychiatric care, you will join a busy, multidisciplinary behavioral health setting-104 beds spread across adult, pediatric (ages 5-17), and geriatric units. With exposure to shifting patient needs and diagnoses ranging from schizophrenia and depression to substance use and anxiety disorders, this position will enhance your adaptability and skill. Rotating through units provides a broad viewpoint on treatment modalities, leadership styles, and team dynamics, a fantastic way to grow your professional versatility.


Schedule & Hours

• Nights: 7p-7a (no block schedule)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call shifts

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Behavioral health experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Willingness to work with both adults and pediatric patients across various units
• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing
• Flexible to float between adult, geriatric, and pediatric units

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric nursing care for diverse populations
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress using Cerner EHR
• Collaborate with a supportive team and work under shift supervisors
