ICU Travel RN Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (compact/in-state as applicable) Critical Care (ICU) experience required; minimum 1 year preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to float to ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg units Completion of required health screenings and background checks Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient documentation skills Key Responsibilities – Critical Care RN / ICU Nurse Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 32-bed ICU/Stepdown unit Manage patients with respiratory insufficiency, cardiac arrest, sepsis, stroke, renal disorders, and complex multisystem conditions Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1–1:3 in ICU and 1:4–1:5 in Stepdown Float as needed to Stepdown and Med/Surg, supporting staffing needs across inpatient areas Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations as required by assignment Location & Lifestyle Concord Township offers suburban tranquility with easy access to Northeast Ohio amenities.
