Job Title: Emergency Medicine

Schedule:

• Coverage Type: Inpatient
• Schedule Type: Clinic & Call
• Call Type: Overnight Beeper Call
• Dates of Need: July 16th - August 10th and August 19th - 28th, with probable additional shifts in October
• Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts), night call (~4 shifts per week)
• Guaranteed Hours per Day: 10
• Hours Worked for OT to apply: 10

Credentialing Requirements:

• Current CV (must be uploaded to bid)
• License: Active or IMLC
• DEA Required: Yes
• Boards: BC only; preferred specialty in Family Practice, with rural health experience (ED, Hospitalist, OB) preferred
• Skills/Certs: Rural Health

Additional Details:
Providence Valdez is seeking additional provider support at our small rural hospital for critical access care. Responsibilities include ER, outpatient/primary care, and emergency OB/C-sections if needed. Providers should be willing and able to handle a broad scope of practice, including ER, outpatient, and OB emergencies. The hospital offers accommodations in hospital apartments (no pets). Travel involves flying into Anchorage and taking a regional flight or ground shuttle to Valdez. Lodging is provided.

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
