RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANT

Responsibilities Black Bear Lodge is a 144‑bed residential treatment center located in the serene forest foothills of northern Georgia. We provide integrated treatment for co‑occurring addiction and mental health concerns, offering a comprehensive program that addresses the needs of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Perform regular wellness checks on patients. Chart significant events regarding patient treatment. Perform ground and room safety checks throughout your shift. Facilitate assigned groups as necessary. Process new intakes and discharges of patients. Administer and record vital signs, accompany/monitor patients to off‑site events/activities and appointments as needed. High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
