Position Overview:

● Responsible for receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, inventory control, warehouse & inventory maintenance, monitoring costs and productivity

● Directs, supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock records in warehouse

● Trains new workers.

● Coordinate management of general administrative activities with the warehouse manager.

● Responsible for DOT, OSHA, HACCP and related warehouse/driver operational compliance requirements

● Other duties as required to support warehouse management team and on-going operational needs

Work Context:

● Lifting/carrying up to about 50 lbs (sacks of rice)

● Pushing/pulling up to about 80 lbs

● Operating machinery, including forklift, pallet jacket, etc.

● Coordination and communication with management and peers

● Requires written and oral communication in English

● Requires being exact or highly accurate

● Requires meeting strict deadlines

● Requires coordinating with others in accomplishing work activities

● Includes responsibility for work outcomes

● Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

● Requires wearing protective gear

● Requires working in very hot (above 80 F degrees) or very cold (below -15 F degrees) temperatures

● Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable

● Requires standing for extended periods of time

● Requires repetitive movement, walking, bending, twisting, seeing, hearing, talking, manual dexterity and flexibility in fingers and hands

● Requires reaching with hands and arms

● Requires repeating the same physical and mental activities over and over
