Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position available in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing advanced patient care within a specialized ICU setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. Job Details: Location: Des Moines, Iowa Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid ICU registered nurse license, current AHA (American Heart Association) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and demonstrated ICU nursing experience. No minimum years of experience required. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are preferred. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: This position involves working every other weekend and every other holiday. July 3 and 4 are required working days. The role requires adherence to facility policies, including specific procedures related to ICU care.
