HOSPITALITY IT MANAGER

Job Description GATE Hospitality Group is looking for an Information Technology Manager that can provide hands‑on management of a small team of technology professionals. Successful candidates must demonstrate leadership skills in a fast‑paced hospitality environment while maintaining outstanding customer service. The Information Technology Manager is responsible for prioritizing technical support requests, coordinating IT staff, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of technology systems across multiple properties. Education High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Ability to read, write, speak, follow and give written and/or oral directions in English. Training & Experience 5+ Years of IT management work experience 5+ Years of technical experience in a Windows‑based environment with 250+ users 5+ Years of technical experience with server and network administration and troubleshooting Valid Driver’s License Job Knowledge Good overall knowledge of programming concepts, software development cycles, and associated tools and platforms. Knowledge of applicable IT laws, policies and regulations. Advanced overall knowledge of networking, operating systems and server architectures. Job Summary Coordinate all technical activities for the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, The Lodge & Club, Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club, and the River Club. Support structured cabling, phone system changes, workstation troubleshooting and imaging, server deployments and upgrades, firewall and network switch administration, and application support. Provide high‑level IT support services to guests and staff, with 24‑hour coverage on site or remotely as needed. Physical Abilities Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, sit or stand for long periods, move between properties, and drive a motor vehicle. Duties and Functions Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and split shifts. Arrive to work on time, consistently. Maintain proper uniform, clean cut hair, and professionalism as directed by management. Attend required training, safety courses, office and departmental meetings. Report safety hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken. Keep current with new technology trends. Employ, train, supervise, and manage salary levels for department personnel. Execute general responsibilities common to all Club management personnel, minimizing operating costs and safeguarding the property and reputation of the Club. Perform timely staff performance appraisals. Administer and monitor all technical equipment and systems. Plan and implement maintenance and upgrades—operating systems, firewalls, anti‑virus, and applications required to support business. Develop and maintain system documentation, including network diagrams, inventory records, and operating procedures. Monitor backup systems and ensure disaster recovery data and procedures are available. Respond to work tickets in accordance with established SLA standards. Configure and deploy new servers, end‑user equipment, and networking equipment. Maintain service‑pack and patch status on all servers and workstations. Support and enforce security policies. Ensure consistency and maintainability of existing and new applications by creating, maintaining and enforcing standards and procedures. Apply technical expertise in the following areas: server operating systems and features, workstation operating systems, routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, Office 365, licensing (Microsoft and application licensing). Desirable expertise: Avaya Communications Manager, Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, Aruba, VMware, Nutanix, Barracuda, Veeam. Attend general staff meetings and communicate with other departments about current activities. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Controller or General Manager.
