Our practice provides a full range of services such as orthopedic surgery, joint replacement, pain management, sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, and hip resurfacing.Duties:Review health and medical histories, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and physical therapists notesAssist with implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needsAssist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily livingPatient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercisesDocumentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visitCollaboration with the PTs and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient careCommunicate effectively with both the staff and patientsContribute to the development and promotion of the practiceCreate an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitudeRequirements:Graduation from a Physical Therapy Assistant ProgramPTA License in FloridaSchedule:Full time (Mon-Thurs 8-5 and Fri 8-1)Compensation: $40 per hour (DOE) Benefits:Production bonusesVacation/PTO daysHealth Insurance benefit potentialWe are looking to change the world, helping people find their best health and their path to wellness through excellent care.
