Come make an impact every day at Zebra.What We're Looking For:An experienced Cloud Engineer to work on various cloud projects involving automation, security, cost management, or operations. Experience is necessary in either Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google GCP. You should be automation and security focused. A self-starter who can work autonomously but also fit in well with our current team dynamic. You will work on projects within IT as well as with the Business led product engineering teams as necessary. In addition, there may be times when you will be on call and respond to customer escalations to L3.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnhance the automation and scripting efforts of the cloud team to identify and automate as much routine deployment, configuration, and other operational work as necessary.Monitor and facilitate a secure cloud environment that follows the best practices around least privileged and zero trust. Ensure all cloud environments have the proper security and access controls in place to guarantee a trusted and secure environment. Address vulnerability concerns whenever possible.Monitor cloud costs across all environments and deploy best practices around FinOps to strive towards cost optimization and accurate cost visibility.Produces professional-level technical skill and judgment to provide non-routine technical support for computer/data center operation for cloud based environment.Contributes to install, configure and troubleshoot server and non-desktop computer hardware, software, systems and other resources in a data center or other centralized computer network setting.Consults with team to uphold access control, data integrity and file system security for the computer/data center environment.Contributes to monitor, track and record system performance and utilization metrics.Creates to develop information technology and infrastructure projects which support on/off premise and Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions.Internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.Collaborates with team regarding company-wide, web-enabled and cloud-technology solutions.Note, the statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, abilities, and skills required.Job RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree.
