Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults

Overview The Associate Pastor/Minister of Youth and Young Adults at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church is a full-time leadership role responsible for developing and overseeing all ministries for middle school, high school, and young adults (ages 18–30). The position focuses on discipling youth and young adults, fostering their spiritual growth, and integrating them into the broader church through worship, service, and fellowship. Responsibilities Organize weekly programs, Bible studies, retreats, and special events for youth and young adults. Recruit and train volunteers to support ministry activities. Build strong relationships with parents, schools, and the community. Maintain clear communication with church leadership and families. Engage in strategic planning, curriculum development, and pastoral care. Provide leadership development and mentorship to volunteers and young leaders. Qualifications Experience in youth/young adult ministry with strong organizational and relational skills. A solid theological foundation and demonstrated calling to serve, lead, and mentor young people in their faith. Candidates should have ministry experience and the ability to develop and execute programs for middle school, high school, and young adults.
