House Cleaning (Part-Time) – Washington DC Please Assist Me is a home management service in Washington, DC that empowers individuals to outsource their weekly chores to their own personal team. We are currently accepting applications for Part‑Time Housekeepers. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must. The right person is punctual, thorough yet fast, and eager to learn. Responsibilities Light Cleaning: Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain private households efficiently and orderly. Duties include dusting, hand washing dishes, cleaning kitchen countertops, utensils, silverware, fluffing pillows, folding blankets, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, emptying wastebaskets and recycling, transporting trash to disposal areas, and refreshing bathrooms (cleaning countertops, toilets, showers, tubs, floors, mirrors). Deep Cleaning: Perform any combination of deep cleaning duties to maintain private households with extreme attention to detail. Duties include replenishing linens, making up beds, vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, sweeping, mopping floors, washing windows, dusting ceilings and baseboards, cleaning mirrors, deep cleaning bathrooms (sinks, countertops, toilets, showers, tubs), and emptying wastebaskets and recycling. Requirements and Qualifications Must be fully vaccinated for COVID‑19 Ability to follow verbal directions. Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team. Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties. Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills. Pays extreme attention to detail when cleaning. Organized and able to follow a schedule.High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to two years of high school education. Must have a passion for cleaning. Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, stand for long lengths of time, push vacuum cleaner for extended periods, lift up to 25–30 pounds. General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning. Must be available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 9:30 AM–5 PM. $15 per hour W‑2 employee, free gear, flex hours, and more!
