Job Description

Ciocca Ford of York is seeking a highly skilled Ford Diesel Technician to join our service department. This position is designed for a technician experienced in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Ford Super Duty and heavy-duty pickup trucks (not commercial long-haul vehicles). The ideal candidate will bring strong diesel engine expertise and the ability to manage advanced diagnostic and repair tasks with precision and efficiency.

Job Type & Schedule

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, rotating Saturdays as needed
• Work Location: In-person in York, PA

Work Requirements

• Ability to commute to York, PA
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Ford diesel engines (Power Stroke) and associated drivetrains
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty Ford trucks, including brakes, suspension, electrical, and cooling systems
• Execute warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer standards
• Perform in-depth troubleshooting using Ford IDS and other OEM diagnostic tools
• Accurately document all services and communicate clearly with service advisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Stay up to date with Ford training, technical bulletins, and diesel-specific technologies

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on diesel repair experience (Ford Power Stroke experience strongly preferred)
• Ford Diesel Certification is highly desirable
• Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and repair equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced shop environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
