Project Analyst

Position Summary: Join the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) as a Project Analyst! The Project Analyst will report to and work closely with the Principal Project Manager to plan, track and forecast projects across the entire Division. The position will also work closely with Principle Investigators and Division Heads across the Digital & Systems Engineering Sector to create cost proposals and coordinate proposal submissions as well as track project execution. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in STEM or Business. Minimum of 5 years experience in Data Analysis or Proposal coordination and preparation Strong communication skills – written, oral, interpersonal. Experienced with Microsoft Office suite, including Power BI. Strong analytical skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously. Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen. Preferred Qualifications: While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: Extensive experience with Deltek CostPoint accounting systems. Experience working with multiple DoD and commercial contract types. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Government solicitation documents and compliance requirements for proposal submission. Experience with creation of white papers, and other similar documents. Experience with grammatical editing and document formatting compliance requirements. Strong understanding of proposal cost creation and internal burdening factors related to various contract types. Ability to work independently with strong time management skills. Experience working in a University research setting. Prior UDRI experience is strongly preferred.
