Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Surgery Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts as assigned; block schedules not available. No requested time off during contract period.

Highlights:

• High-acuity surgical trauma floor with complex and diverse patient population
• Patient ratio of 5:1 with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries on night shift
• EPIC EMR system utilized facility-wide
• Patient population includes surgical patients, trauma cases including gunshot wounds, quadriplegics, and paraplegics
• Structured nurse handoff process with ED and admitting unit teams
• Minimum 2 years of surgical trauma nursing experience required

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical trauma specialty
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts without block scheduling
