The candidate’s primary tasks will be to participate in testing utilizing the antenna calibration system as well as day to day operations of the antenna and RCS measurement ranges. This includes test setup, system performance checks, RCS/antenna data collection and data processing. The selected candidate will also assist the LO Test Team in the troubleshooting of system failures and other periodic system upgrades.Standard Job DescriptionArchitects and designs Radio Frequency systems and circuitry. Designs and develops RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. In addition, develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.Basic QualificationsUS citizen with an active Department of Defense Secret security clearance or the ability to acquire one up to and including special access programs clearances.Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology (or similar) from an accredited college and a desire to work with electromagnetics, antenna and radar systems.Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with multifunctional teams and customers.Be willing and able to work in a hands on laboratory environmentDesired SkillsBasic understanding of radar, antenna and electromagnetic theory.MS in electrical/electronics engineering or similar.RCS knowledge or experienceHave demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills to interface with multifunctional teamsExperience in Microsoft Office Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
