Job Description: M-F - Shift would be 8:30 to 5:30 with a 1 hour meal break

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
• Years of Experience: 1
• Certifications: ARRT N*, BLS, NMTCB*

Skills: Adult*, GE*, PET Scan*, Starting and maintaining IVs, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials, fdg whole body and skull to thigh

Unit Details:

• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 5
• Number of Rooms: 1
• Interdisciplinary Support: Interpretation Services, Radiology

Travel Compliance:

• No Nursys or background hits accepted.
• RTO: No RTO within the first two weeks of an assignment. Max 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract highly preferred.
• All RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.
• Screenshot of traveler confirming RTO required when applying.
• Valid CA State License required in-hand when applying. EMSA not accepted.
• Certifications: All required certs must be in-hand when applying.
• CPI REQUIREMENT: All ER nurses MUST have a CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute IN-HAND when applying. MAB or Online CPI Blue certification not accepted. All Float Pool nurses must get a CPI Blue Card.
• EPIC experience required must be noted in traveler’s work history as well.
• References: Two (2) Supervisor references required when applying.
• Local Rules: Locals accepted at the same rate.
• Return Staff Policy: Must be gone a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
• Interview: Manager may or may not interview. Traveler must be OK with this. If Traveler has questions, please email the AM.
• Modules: Modules are billable, average 4-8 hours spent on modules. Any time spent on modules after orientation (ex: annual) are non-billable. Modules are completed during orientation (or at home post-start if not completed onsite) and annually, and module hours vary by specialty. Modules are self-reported.
