Occupational Medical Physician - Santa Maria, CA - $50K Sign on Bonus Full-timeSalary Description$200,000-$300,000/yr Description We are a leading occupational medicine clinic focused on reducing healthcare costs and improving employee productivity. We provide urgent and appointment-based care for work-related injuries and illnesses, along with tailored rehab programs to support timely returns to work. Summary /Objective As a Staff Physician with us, you will enhance the patient experience by delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You ll manage patient flow, deliver compassionate treatment, and communicate care plans effectively. Essential Functions

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, manage work restrictions, and support safe return-to-work plans.
\n
• Conduct and interpret OSHA, DOT, fitness-for-duty, and return-to-work exams.
\n
• Order labs, imaging, and referrals; prescribe medications as necessary.
\n
• Perform minor procedures such as wound care and foreign body removal.
\n
• Communicate treatment plans, test results, and follow-up instructions to patients, employers, and clinical staff.
\n
• Ensure a smooth patient flow by coordinating with clinical staff and minimizing wait times.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records and EMR.
\n
• Provide support and supervision to clinical staff, including Physician Assistants, as needed.
\n
• Respond effectively to emergencies and perform stabilization when required.
\n
• Uphold HIPAA compliance, infection control, and safety protocols.
\n

Education/Experience/Skills \n
• MD or DO with unrestricted California license.
\n
• DOT certification required (or obtain within 30 days of employment).
\n
• BCLS, CPR, and AED certified; DEA and California drug licenses.
\n
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT regulations, and EMR experience.
\n
