Overview Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Health System invites applications for the position of Attending Physician in the Department of Oncology. We seek an outstanding researcher, clinician at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank to join 4 Breast Oncologists and full, support team including APPs, RNs and experienced administrative staff. Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology and Fellowship trained in Breast Oncology. Responsibilities This is a full-time position with call responsibilities shared with other members of the team. There is a teaching component guiding medical students, Residents and Fellows through didactic instruction and the opportunity to be involved with clinical trials and research. Requirements In addition to a competitive starting salary of $325,000, we offer productivity incentives through wRVUs, LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered. The department is closely aligned with the Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center, which is the fourth cancer center in the U.S. to receive NCI designation, in 1972. Einstein offers an extremely interactive environment with numerous, well-equipped core facilities and a clinical and translational research institute. The Department of Oncology comprises a large and complex clinical operation, spanning 60 hospital beds with 3,300 discharges per year at the three main campuses, and operates 90 outpatient infusion chairs in five locations.
