Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines, employing professional and supervisory judgment.
• Collects and analyzes patient health data to determine care issues.
• Develops and implements care plans, evaluating progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
