The Alarm Technician will specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various alarm systems, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV integration, and access control systems. This role involves both independent work and collaboration within a small team, primarily servicing local clients through single-day, multi-day, or ongoing maintenance projects. The technician ensures all systems comply with safety standards and function reliably to protect client properties.

Responsibilities

• Install burglar, fire, CCTV, and access control alarm systems
• Perform routine system maintenance and testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Provide technical support to clients and team members
• Repair and replace defective equipment as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
• Manage projects with varying durations including ongoing maintenance contracts

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in alarm system installation and maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of electrical and security systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
