Benefits: 401(k) Employee discounts Paid time off About the Role: Hodson & Meister PA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team in Miami, FL! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced orthodontists in a patient-focused environment where you'll play a key role in creating confident, beautiful smiles every day. Responsibilities: Assist orthodontists chairside during patient exams, consultations, and orthodontic procedures Place and remove orthodontic appliances including brackets, bands, and archwires Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area Update and maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation Coordinate with front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling Requirements: Prior experience as an orthodontic assistant Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, and appliances Dental radiography certification or willingness to obtain Familiarity with dental practice management software Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Miami market About Us: Hodson & Meister PA is a trusted orthodontic practice proudly serving the Miami, FL community with a commitment to exceptional patient care and outstanding clinical results.
