Job Description As a frontline cashier, you will be an integral part of Onvo’s success, providing fast and friendly service while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Service – Greet customers quickly and courteously, provide a pleasant shopping experience, respond to inquiries promptly, handle complaints per company policies, and recommend products based on knowledge. Cash Handling – Operate point‑of‑sale equipment accurately, process sales effectively, balance tills at shift start and end, and maintain cash drawer levels as required. Stock Control – Receive, stock, and face merchandise; lift up to 50 pounds safely; apply FIFO on receiving and stocking; remove damaged or out‑of‑date items; and follow portion control to minimize loss. Security & Loss Prevention – Maintain full control of the store, use prevention techniques to reduce loss, and secure premises at day end. Cleanliness – Sweep and mop floors, clean walls, counters, tables, service equipment, restroom, and parking lot; adheres to Onvo brand sanitary standards. Teamwork & Communication – Work positively with others, assist teammates and new associates, and report concerns to the GM promptly. Occupational Health & Safety – Perform duties safely, follow company safety policies and procedures, use proper materials handling, and report unsafe conditions.
