Description

This is a brand new BCBA role, the first full-time BCBA position, at a Philadelphia-based behavioral health organization serving children and youth through an intensive, home and community-based IBHS/ABA program. You'll carry your own caseload of roughly 10 to 14 children and young adults, working across home, school, and community settings for a minimum of 25 billable hours per week, primarily in Northeast Philadelphia with the team based out of Mount Airy. Expect a fair amount of time on the road between sites. You'll set your own schedule, most days run daytime hours Monday through Friday, with an evening or weekend only occasionally needed around a family's availability. You'll also supervise Behavior Consultants, Assistant Behavior Consultants, and Behavior Health Technicians, and report to the ABA Clinical Director. This isn't a mill, the clinical bar is high and the kids are front and center. New and recently certified BCBAs are welcome, training and mentorship are part of the role.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide direct IBHS/ABA services to children and youth in home, school, and community settings (minimum 25 billable hours/week)
• Write and revise treatment plans, Comprehensive Assessments, and FBAs in line with PA IBHS regulations
• Conduct skills assessments using tools like VBMAPP, ABAS-3, and PEAK; run preference assessments and design individualized data systems
• Supervise and train Behavior Consultants, Assistant Behavior Consultants, and BHT-ABA/RBT staff through regular on-site supervision and direct observation
• Provide psychoeducation to families, caregivers, school staff, and 1:1 staff on diagnosis, learning style, and behavioral interventions
• Participate in IEPs, ISPTs, transition meetings, crisis consults, and situational consults as needed
• Document all services via progress notes in the EMR within 48 hours of service

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, education, or a related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential - required
• Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License (BSL) - required
• BCBA Supervisor eligibility, including the BACB-approved 8-hour supervision training (or willingness to complete it)
• New and recently certified BCBAs are encouraged to apply, hands-on training and mentorship provided
• Comfortable managing a self-set schedule and traveling daily between school, home, and community sites
• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
