La Oficina de Servicios de la Policía del Campus del Distrito de Colegios Comunitarios Ohlone está buscando un Oficial de Seguridad que mantenga el carácter moral y el profesionalismo mientras trabaja en un entorno universitario. El candidato debe ser capaz de adaptarse a distintos horarios, trabajar en un entorno de equipo y priorizar tareas. Las responsabilidades incluyen patrullar las instalaciones del campus, responder a alarmas y solicitudes de ayuda, hacer cumplir las normas y reglamentos, investigar incidentes y mantener la seguridad. Este puesto requiere aprobar una investigación de antecedentes y cumplir con todos los requisitos de Oficial de Seguridad. Responder a amenazas en conjunto con las autoridades correspondientes. Brindar asistencia al Jefe y al personal policial del campus según se asigne. Ejecutar funciones de despacho y realizar actividades de relaciones públicas. Recoger y entregar efectivo legal, como máquinas de estacionamiento, cheques estatales y otros fondos. Operar una variedad de equipos de seguridad y de oficina, incluyendo un dispositivo de movimiento T3, radio de dos vías, spray de pimienta, porra, esposas, sistemas de videovigilancia, cámara digital, desfibrilador externo automático (DEA), computadora y software asignado y otros equipos asignados; conducir un vehículo para realizar el trabajo. Investigar y hacer cumplir el uso no autorizado de las instalaciones; responder a activaciones de alarmas de incendio y de robos. Bloquear y desbloquear edificios/puertas según sea necesario; armar y desarmar alarmas de robo. Evacuar aulas y edificios en situaciones de emergencia según sea necesario. Asistir a diversas reuniones, capacitaciones y talleres según se requiera. Realizar otras tareas relacionadas según se asignen. El Oficial de Seguridad del Campus en Ohlone College en Fremont, CA es responsable de promover prácticas con enfoque de equidad y de garantizar la seguridad de la comunidad del campus. El puesto requiere licencia válida de Primeros Auxilios/CPR y DEA, una licencia de conducir Clase C de California, la finalización de cursos de capacitación específicos y cualificaciones deseables, incluido el bilingüismo. El puesto implica actividades físicas y elementos ambientales, junto con los materiales de solicitud requeridos para su completación.
