Summary
As the Banquet Cook, you must have in-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner. On a daily basis, you must monitor food production, quality and consistency. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, communication skills, organizational skills, and guest contact experience.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in large scale banquet operations, preferably in a comparable full-service hotel
- Able to read event orders, organize banquet service and execute
- Able to read recipes and understand proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Intermediate level of plating, sauce work, knife skills, roasting, broiling, grilling and vegetable prep
- Open availability including weekends and holidays in relation to business levels
- Pastry experience a plus
