Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our hospital facility, where a collaborative and multidisciplinary team atmosphere cultivates a supportive environment for both professionals and patients. Working alongside physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, the selected Physician Assistant will engage on a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed patient assessments and compiling comprehensive medical histories to facilitate accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Performing thorough physical examinations and ordering necessary diagnostic tests, interpreting results to determine optimal treatment pathways.
• Administering vaccinations and medications, while educating patients on preventive health measures and lifestyle modifications.
• Monitoring and managing chronic conditions in collaboration with other healthcare professionals and coordinating referrals for specialty care as needed.
• Documenting all patient encounters meticulously using the EPIC EMR system to ensure compliance and maintain high-quality patient care.
• Participating actively in quality improvement initiatives and staying current with the latest evidence-based practices in medicine.
• Building strong, compassionate relationships with patients and their families to support their holistic health journey.
• Upholding the highest ethical and legal standards in medical practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position encompasses care for a wide-ranging patient demographic, from newborns to geriatric individuals, enabling the successful candidate to exercise a broad scope of clinical skills and deliver care that addresses unique health needs across all age groups. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and a valid state license are mandatory.
• At least one year of experience working as a Physician Assistant in a clinical setting.
• A Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies is required for robust understanding and skills application.
• Proficiency in critical thinking, patient assessment, and effective communication skills essential for collaborative care.

Compensation and Benefits
