Production Assistant

Production Assistant Wage: $24.00 - $25.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Production Assistant at a company in Franksville, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Production Assistant Responsibilities: Create and verify job travelers with accurate information, including bill of materials, routings, specifications, and special instructions Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Collaborate closely with the Production Team and other departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Control) to facilitate seamless coordination and communication throughout the production process Accurately enter production data into the ERP system and generate reports as needed Maintain accurate and organized production records, documentation, and files. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily available Identify and elevate any production-related issues or challenges to the appropriate personnel for resolution Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes and enhance efficiency Requirements for Production Assistant: High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings is a plus Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with inventory and ERP systems is an advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectivelyFamiliarity with inventory control and cycle counting procedures We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
