What You'll Do:

• Receive, store, issue, and distribute materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stockroom data within enterprise systems.
• Perform order fulfillment activities and support material tracking and reconciliation.
• Prepare materials and products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Process shipping transactions and verify quantities, weights, and shipment details.
• Review freight bills, packing lists, bills of lading, DD250 documentation, and shipping records.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including export documentation preparation.
• Monitor shipping schedules and ensure on-time material movement.
• Research and resolve material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and shipping issues.
• File freight claims and coordinate resolutions for lost or damaged shipments.
• Respond to inquiries regarding shipment tracking, freight costs, and delivery status.
• Support Government Customer Property Control requirements and compliance activities.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve workflow, inventory accuracy, and shipping efficienc

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, stockroom operations, shipping, logistics, or material management.
• 2+ years of experience using inventory management, receiving, MRP, ERP, or enterprise software systems.
• 2+ years of experience maintaining inventory records and executing material transactions.
• Experience shipping domestic and international shipments.
• Experience preparing shipping documentation including bills of lading, export documentation, packing lists, and freight paperwork.
• Experience with Government Customer Property Control procedures.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.

• Forklift certification or material handling equipment certification.
• Experience handling classified materials within regulated environments.
• Experience with DD250 documentation and government shipment requirements.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
• Experience auditing carrier performance and transportation costs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
• Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve logistics, inventory, and operational efficiency.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
• Overtime: May be required based on shipping schedules and operational demands.
• Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials and packages.
• Material Handling Equipment: Forklift, sky track, crane, and other industrial vehicle operation may be required.
• Work Environment: Warehouse, stockroom, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations supporting advanced manufacturing and defense programs.
