CONSTRUCTION LABORERS CONCRETE/WATERPROOFING (Maspeth, Queens, NY)
Starting Pay: $18.00-$22.00/hr.
JOB DUTIES:
- Repair sidewalks.
- Perform concrete-related work.
- Perform waterproofing work.
- Work with cement, concrete, and waterproofing materials.
- Travel to various job sites throughout the boroughs as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- OSHA 40 Certification.
- Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Minimum 2 years of construction experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Waterproofing
- Sheetrock installation and plastering
- Masonry and sidewalk repairs
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred but not required.
- Experience with wet trades, including construction work involving materials mixed with water or liquids such as cement and concrete.
