Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents. This role combines customer service, communication, and rapid response while supporting a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Sun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with local management and/or public emergency responders when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or disorderly conduct while maintaining a professional presence. Support retail location operations by following post orders, reporting security-related concerns, and assisting with access control, deliveries, and/or after-hours checks as directed. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
