Electronic Security Lead Technician - Special Projects

A successful Site Lead can work with minimal supervision, provide daily updates of work performed, and reach out to his project manager for support as needed. The goal of every Site Lead/Sr Tech is to train replacements and advance into Project Management.ResponsibilitiesFollow and track project scheduling.Direct subcontractor, internal resource communications.Manage and coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.Read and understand written specifications, drawings and controlling documents. Maintain current and accurate documentation of systems.Perform installation and training as required on implemented control systems.Troubleshoot and maintain new and existing control systems for customers.Coordinate project activities with appropriate parties internally and externally.Document and communicate necessary project changes and subsequently implement the changes.Perform all work in a manner consistent with policies, procedures, and standards.Complete the final Test and Acceptance of security systems.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsWorking knowledge of general access control systems.
