Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control in Ocala FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Access Control Officer in a retail location you will help manage entry points monitor access and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with customers employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients associates vendors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials screening visitors maintaining visitor logs and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances exits receiving areas sales floors parking areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain clear professional communication with store leadership and personnel while supporting access-control procedures during deliveries vendor visits and high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
