Production Sample Coordinator

Overview The Production Sample Coordinator is responsible for executing the initial production run of every vinyl pressing project at Nashville Record Pressing. This role ensures that all projects meet internal quality standards before transitioning to full-scale production. Additionally, the coordinator oversees the creation, inspection, and delivery of all production samples, ensuring they reflect the highest standards of craftsmanship and brand representation. Initial Production Runs Execute the initial production run for each new project. Validate that project specifications (vinyl color, weight, labels, jackets, inserts, etc.) align with customer requirements. Identify and document any discrepancies, quality concerns, or process adjustments prior to full production. Collaborate with production, scheduling, and quality teams to troubleshoot and refine processes. Production Sample Management Produce and prepare all required production samples. Ensure samples meet internal quality standards and client expectations. Manage timelines and prioritize sample production in alignment with project and delivery deadlines. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of initial runs and production samples, including setup notes, quality observations, and approvals. Provide feedback to production planning and leadership to improve efficiency and consistency. Track sample requests, fulfillment, and distribution. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with production planning to understand project requirements and priorities. Coordinate with Quality and Production leadership to ensure a smooth transition from initial runs to full production.
