We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Consulting Inventory Reconciliation Specialist to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to utilize their expertise in retail analytics, inventory management, and online platforms like Amazon and eBay. The successful candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and inventory tracking, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Inventory Reconciliation Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Leading the reconciliation process for all inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
2. Utilizing advanced Excel skills to analyze large data sets, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to improve inventory management.
3. Managing inventory across multiple online platforms including Amazon and eBay, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
4. Collaborating with the purchasing team to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
5. Developing and maintaining detailed reports on inventory status and performance, presenting findings to senior management.
6. Implementing effective inventory tracking systems, ensuring accurate and real-time visibility of stock levels.
7. Leveraging retail analytics to forecast inventory needs, minimizing stockouts and overstocks.
8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting Inventory Reconciliation Specialist position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail environment.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
4. Experience managing inventory on online platforms such as Amazon and eBay.
5. Strong understanding of retail analytics and its application in inventory management.
6. Proven experience in purchasing and inventory tracking.
7. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on implementing effective solutions to inventory discrepancies.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
11. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
12. Professional certification in inventory management or related field would be an advantage.
