Field Sales Representative

This is a great opportunity to be part of a brand-new delivery program launching in the area. The position involves recruiting local businesses to join a delivery partner program. You will collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors to engage with prospective businesses, introduce them to the program, assist them through the application process, and organize recruitment events. The role requires travel within a two-hour driving distance and offers the chance to earn commission per converted partner.

Responsibilities:

• Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns within a two-hour driving distance.
• Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest to apply.
• Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process, leading activities and managing pipelines in Salesforce.
• Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch and learns and town hall meetings.
• Collaborate with the Field Manager to work with local influencers such as chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
• Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis.

Essential Skills:

• 1-2+ years in sales and/or customer service experience.
• Outside/Field Sales experience required.
• CRM Experience Required, Salesforce preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Field sales experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers is advantageous.
• Professionalism, enthusiasm to work with others, and a high sense of urgency.
• Attention to detail and ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.
• Tech-savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technology.
• Ability to travel up to four hours round trip distance daily.

Work Environment:

This role is based in Tallahassee. You will be on the road 3-5 days a week and work from home the remainder of the time. Benefits include two weeks of PTO after six months of a successful performance review, uncapped commission, reimbursement for partner applications and launches, a monthly phone bill stipend, and mileage reimbursement.

This is a Contract position based out of Tallahassee, FL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
