Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This position entails performing focused, in-person physical examinations and electronically reviewing medical records to fulfill the necessary documentation for the VA.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
Review and analyze electronic medical records through a secure web portal.
Accurately document examination findings and complete the required VA forms.
Provide medical opinions based on assessment results.

Note: This position does not involve treatment or the prescribing of medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.

Position Details:

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Location: In-person role.
Caseload: 3-5 Veterans per day.
Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
Comfortable utilizing technology for record review and documentation.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary: $110,000-$120,000 (based on experience).
