Senior Marketing Manager

Plum Paper, part of the Avery Products family of brands is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager , you are the steward of the Plum Paper brand. Your core responsibility is to design strategies to build the brand, generate new customer leads, nurture our loyal established customer base and drive sales growth. You will own the end-to-end marketing strategy for Plum Paper — from digital acquisition and social media to creative direction and brand storytelling. The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for meeting revenue targets, growing new customer acquisition and achieving customer retention. In this role you’ll be driving high level business strategy, while rolling up your sleeves and executing. You\'ll lead a cross-functional team of marketers and designers, champion a culture of customer focused data-driven decision-making, and partner directly with senior leadership to shape how Plum Paper shows up in the world. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for a builder who thrives in a dynamic e-commerce environment. Generous product allowance — because we want you to love what we make Flexible work environment WHAT YOU\'LL DO Team and Organizational Leadership Be a key voice on the Plum Paper Leadership Team in developing business strategies that are customer, market and data driven and which bring clear competitive advantages. You will also play a key role in annual planning Manage and grow a strong team of marketers, designers, and agencies — fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement Collaborate and communicate the marketing agenda to the broader organization. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and develop team members\' skills and careers Build scalable processes, workflows, and tools that help the team work efficiently as the business grows Build and effectively manage the department budget Establish marketing business objectives and KPI’s including key areas like new customer acquisition, customer retention, competitive advantages, new product/service needs, channel and partnerships, brand visibility and engagement and promotions. Develop, execute and communicate an effective integrated digital marketing strategy spanning paid social, organic social, email, SEO/SEM/AEO, and emerging channels and marketplaces that is adaptable to results and trends. Own the social media roadmap across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Meta, Reddit, and other relevant platforms — setting strategy, tone, and content cadence Lead campaign planning and execution from brief through post-mortem, ensuring every effort is measurable and tied to business goals Champion web UX improvements to continuously optimize storefront for conversion Identify and collaborate on new product ideas and new to the world innovations for growth Stay ahead of consumer trends, platform changes, algorithm shifts, and digital trends to keep Plum Paper\'s marketing fresh and effective Lead PR efforts, including affiliate marketing, influencer, and creator strategy and events Lead the pricing strategy development and adjust as needed based on costs and market trends Establish a visual design/creative strategy that is consistent with the brand and engaging for consumers across all touchpoints including campaigns, seasonal launches, and brand moments — balancing performance needs with elevated aesthetics. Lead and inspire the design team to produce compelling, on-brand creative across all marketing channels and consumer touchpoints Partner with the product team to bring new product stories to life through standout creative and market communication Oversee creative briefs, feedback cycles, and quality standards across all output Data, Analytics & Growth Champion a data-first culture — establishing dashboards, reporting cadences, and testing frameworks that turn insights into action Own performance reporting across all marketing channels; define KPIs, monitor results, and quickly iterate based on what the data shows Design and run A/B and multivariate tests across creative, copy, targeting, and channels to continuously optimize performance Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders WHAT YOU BRING Experience 5+ years of experience in marketing with at least 2 years in a people management role University or college degree, MBA an advantage Proven track record leading digital and social media strategy for a small-to-medium e-commerce brand Deep fluency in performance marketing metrics, analytics platforms, and e-commerce KPIs Demonstrated experience leading or closely collaborating with a creative/design team Strong command of paid and organic social channels — particularly Meta, TikTok, and Reddit Experience building and interpreting dashboards and using data to drive meaningful business decisions Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams A genuine growth mindset: curious, experimentative, agile, and energized by possibility Core Competencies: Leadership: Ability to inspire, delegate tasks, and build cohesive teams. Analytical Thinking: Capability to translate data into actionable insights. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for both internal and external stakeholders Adaptability: Staying current with ever-changing digital landscapes, consumer trends, and AI tools, etc. Business Strategy & Financial Acumen: Ability to forecast trends, manage budgets, and translate marketing performance into clear ROI and revenue outcomes.
