The role requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes during orthopedic procedures, including large joints and spine surgeries. It offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated staff.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, proven experience in orthopedic surgery, familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system, ability to work day shifts, and candidates with large joint and spine orthopedic experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with total joints and spine procedures, excellent team collaboration skills.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit employs approximately 70 staff members, with a focus on orthopedic surgeries such as large joints, hand, feet, scopes, and spine. The unit maintains a professional dress code with sky blue scrubs. Staff are expected to report at 6:45 am for a pre-shift huddle, and the shift concludes at 5:15 pm. Call is required approximately four times per month, limited to weekdays only. The department emphasizes employee engagement and patient satisfaction, achieving over 90% patient satisfaction levels. The unit is equipped with modern orthopedic surgical technology and fosters a collaborative work environment.
