About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic and operational leadership for its behavioral health center. The COO will work closely with the Center Director to ensure that the center's scientific vision is effectively translated into research programs that enhance behavioral health outcomes and increase access to care. This role is pivotal in overseeing all operational aspects, including program execution, research operations, financial management, compliance, and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and expanding operations for innovative behavioral health programs, managing complex research portfolios, and scaling digital health tools. Essential duties include leading day-to-day operations, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering relationships with institutional leadership, funders, and community partners. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years' of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, program leadership, or center management in behavioral health, healthcare, or research settings, with a proven track record in financial management and grant portfolio oversight. Experience in scaling clinical research programs, particularly clinical trial research studies, or digital health and AI-based interventions is highly valued. The COO must possess exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills, and be adept at managing interdisciplinary staff. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA and IRB processes, is essential.
