Job Summary
The Project Manager is a key member of Structor Group's commercial construction team, responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of projects from preconstruction through closeout. This position will have a strong focus on healthcare construction projects, including work within active and occupied healthcare environments.
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and Structor Group's quality standards. This role works closely with clients, healthcare facility representatives, architects, engineers, subcontractors, field leadership, and internal project teams while upholding Structor Group's mission, vision, and values.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Analyze project risks and develop strategies to mitigate schedule, cost, safety, and operational impacts.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation.
- Prepare and lead owner, subcontractor, and internal project meetings.
- Review and approve subcontractor pay applications and invoices.
- Prepare and review owner pay applications.
- Review drawings, specifications, and design changes to determine impacts to project cost and schedule.
- Manage owner and subcontractor change requests and change orders.
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain strong communication with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal team members.
- Maintain quality control throughout all phases of construction.
- Coordinate punch list activities, project turnover, and closeout.
- Ensure project teams and subcontractors comply with Structor Group's safety requirements and applicable jobsite regulations.
- Negotiate subcontractor scopes and buyout opportunities.
- Assist with estimating, bidding, and preconstruction activities as assigned.
- For healthcare projects, coordinate construction activities to minimize disruption to active patient-care and occupied healthcare environments.
- Coordinate healthcare-specific requirements, including infection-control measures, shutdowns, phasing, interim life safety measures, and facility access requirements, as applicable to the project.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience preferred.
- Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred, including renovation, expansion, or construction within active/occupied healthcare facilities.
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial projects through preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost forecasting, scheduling, change management, and subcontractor management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documents.
- Knowledge of healthcare construction considerations, including infection control, ICRA, ILSM, shutdown coordination, phasing, and occupied-facility construction, preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with owners, healthcare representatives, architects, engineers, management, field teams, and subcontractors.
- Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Strong work ethic with a team-oriented and results-driven approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling software.
- Experience with Procore strongly preferred.
- Experience with Timberline Project Management and Timberline Estimating preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
This position operates in both office and active construction-site environments. The role requires regular communication and coordination with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and field personnel and may require travel to assigned project sites.
The employee must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to sit for extended periods, operate a computer, communicate in person and by telephone, walk active construction sites, and occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
Because this position may support projects within active healthcare facilities, employees may be required to comply with site-specific health, safety, access, vaccination, testing, or other facility requirements, as applicable.
