PEIMS Specialist

Daily support to campus registrar and attendance clerks for coding inquiries Assist in monitoring PEIMS data for accuracy and consistency Assist in discipline data review to alert assistant principals of data entry errors Assist PEIMS Directors in all PEIMS & CORE submissions to meet the TEA deadlines Assist in providing reports used by campuses to monitor PEIMS data Perform all other duties as assigned Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Experience: Two years PEIMS experience; campus or district level; preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: Advanced clerical, telephone, and computer skills Proficiency in Word and Excel Proficiency in Google Doc and Spreadsheets Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Maintain confidentiality of student and employee information at all times Working Conditions: Mental Demands Ability to work with frequent interruptions Ability to maintain emotional control under stress Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written Detail focused Physical Demands Repetitive hand motions Prolonged use of computer This document describes the general purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties that may be assigned or skills that may be required.
